Pulling Down the Stronghold

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ”.  2 Cor. 10:4-5 (NIV)

Islam is notable for her pillars and pillars are usually physical and spiritual fortress of safety, confidence, trust, religion, philosophical and moral arguments. These pillars are beginning to crumble all over the world as we challenge them with the effective weapons of intercession and prayers.  The 9th edition of this prayer campaign is one of such concentrated and consistent attempt at weakening the physical and spiritual stronghold of Islam all over the world.

Our most solemn expectation is that as we pray, the pillars of Islam in arguments, institutions, propagation, violence, legislation and religion will collapse and crumble, releasing many from its grip, terror and darkness into the marvelous light of the gospel.

This prayer guide is to help mobilize prayer campaign for the Muslim world and the 10/40 window, and help believers overcome fear of Muslims and reach out to them in love with the gospel of Christ.

Coinciding with Ramadan, Christians worldwide are called to make an intentional effort to learn about Islam and pray for millions of unreached people groups and tribes. Join millions of Christians around the country and the world who participate each year in this largest international prayer focus on the Muslim world.

  • The prayer guide can be used during private or family devotion.
