The CPM, an initiative of Open Bible Ministries is a network of Christian professionals, men and women who already have saving faith in Christ Jesus across denominational lines; lawyers, doctors, engineers, teachers, creative artists, accountants, bankers, para-medicals, builders, artisans, civil servants, Christian Corpers etc, and are ready to use their skill and resources for God in advancing frontier missions among the nations.

Christians professionals has become crucial in today's frontiers missions enterprise through strategic, intentional, and creative deployment of their skills, expertise and proffession in work place and on mission fields.

Christian professionals are career and businesspeople who support themselves in secular jobs in order to reach another people with the gospel, by integrating work and witness.

We have plenty of personnel in our churches, but most are spectators in the pews, immobilized by entertainment model services, and unable to evangelize even their own family, neighborhood and workplace.

Do you desire relevance in God's end time agenda among the unreached people's group locally and on foreign missions?

Do you desire networking with other Christian proffessionals to make difference for Christ in your generation?

Goals:

Using professional skills to advance the cause of Christian missions among unreached people groups in Nigeria and the 10/40 windows.
Supporting, encouraging and strengthening missionaries on mission fields.
Encouraging the persecuted churches in difficult places.
Responding to victims of religion crisis – widows, orphans and Christian workers with relief materials, in medical care, physical rehabilitation and spiritual rehabilitation.
Supplying Christian literatures and bibles to mission fields, refugee camps and any other places where such materials are needed.
Missions trip to mission fields for prayer walk, missions’ exposure and involvement.
Reproducing disciples for Christ Jesus at work and in marketplace.
Providing platform for spiritual accountability, authenticity and integrity.
Organising discipleship and spiritual retreat for professionals
Providing logistics and professional support to cross cultural missions.

Statement of faith

1) We believe that only one God is revealed in three distinct personalities; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29; Matt 28:19.

2) We believe the Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant. II Tim 3: 16, 17,2 Pet 1:20-21

3) We believe in literal hell and heaven. Lk 12:5, Mark 9:43-48,Rev 21:1-2

4) We believe in Jesus Christ’s last commission that believers should go and make disciples of all nations of the world. Matt 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-16

5) We believe in the community of the believers called the church. Heb 10:25, Acts 11:26

6) We are saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, unto eternal life, apart from works or religious observances. John 3: 16, Rom 3: 21 – 28; Eph 2:8-9

7) We eagerly await the personal and soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 1:10, 11; I Thess 4: 13 – 18.

Prerequisite

Members must have experienced the saving faith in Christ resulting in new birth.
Must subscribe to goals and statement of faith of the network.
Must have willingness and commitment to serve God with their skill in missions.
Must belong to local assembly/network of believers for spiritual fellowship.
